Welcome to the Design Research master's wiki! We are glad too see that you are interested in browsing the wiki or editing it.

Browse the wiki

No need to have an account to browse the wiki, use the search bar at the top to find articles. Use the left menu to find important pages and actions. Also, some non-editables pages called Special pages can help you navigate the wiki :

Setup your account

You must have an account to start editing the wiki, upload images etc. Only Wikimdr:Administrators can create accounts. Provide Admin an email address and a wiki username and they will create one for you. You will receive your account informations by email. Then you can log in to start editing the wiki.

  1. Setup a strong password : it must be 16 characters long.
  2. Verify your email address in the Special:Preferences (in the user menu with a person icon).
  3. If you want, you can setup a two-factor authentication also in the preferences for security enhancement.

Done! If you need help, contact an admin.

Start editing

The wiki is made by the students and can always be improved. Don't be stressed out, every modification can be reversed and improved. So write freely, if someone disagree they might revert the edit and discuss with you.

  1. Explore the editing guides : get familiar with the two editing methods in Help:Editing and follow the Help:Style guide for consistency on the wiki.
  2. A good way to start editing is to setup your Userpage. This is a personal space so put anything you want! It is a great way to keep track of who was part of the master, so you can add info like your name, year of graduation, research subject, mail, website...

Administrate the wiki

For wiki setup and administration info and tasks see Help:Admin.
