The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is a A2 printer in the design department computer room. Presentation

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is a A2 printer in the design department computer room. You can achieve a very high printing quality (better than Central's plotter) on various paper sizes, from 10 × 15 cm to A2. Be aware that the printing can be pretty slow depending on your image and the quality settings.

Printing process

  • Download Canon's Print & Layout software here or here (What's the difference ?).
  • Prepare your files : it must be .jpg RGB color model.
  • Follow Canon's new users guide

Note that the printer has also been tested without using Print & Layout software and with PDF format, but this need documentation.

Paper choice

The printer has been successfully tested with these papers :

  • PaintON Recyclé bloc collé A2 250g
